I created this blog four years ago, to document my first ever teaching job. That job was in Cambodia. I'm definitely not in Cambodia anymore, but through a series of unexpected but probably predestined events, I am weeks away from my second job as a teacher. This job is in Nashville, my chosen home, and it is for real.

I don't have the best track record as a blogger, but I know I'll need to do a lot of writing this year. Writing helps me process my thoughts. I'm going to be doing a lot of thinking, and my hope is that this blog will hold me accountable for being reflective, staying inspired, and for keeping in touch with the people who keep me sane.
